Anti-Racism

Below is a list of selected resources for community members to learn about the experiences of Indigenous peoples, Black peoples, Asian peoples and other racialized communities, as well as analysis. These resources provide starting points and are not comprehensive. There are a lot more materials out there to learn and unlearn racist ideas and attitudes, and to examine how these ideas and behaviours interact with systemic racism. It is important to remind ourselves that racialized peoples and communities are diverse.

It is also critical that an anti-racist journey be equipped with the knowledge of Algonquin History in the Ottawa River Watershed and the history of colonization in Canada.
