Somerset West Community Health Centre and the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Carleton University recently hosted an event to share the results of a new report entitled ‘This Neighbourhood is Changing: Who it changing for?’ The report highlights upcoming development changes in West Centretown, as a resource for local residents and community groups in their commitment to ensure that West Centretown remains a diverse and vibrant neighbourhood.
The event also shines a light on local efforts to advocate for community priorities, including the Building Community Together project, the Plouffe Park Plant Pool Expansion Coalition (P4X) and a newly released report entitled 'Recreation Mapping: Somerset West Community Health Centre'.
