This is a project that has been worked on over the last few years by a number of interns in both Nutrition and Community Development as a way to minimize the effects of the “food desert” in West Centretown. The map is a way for us to raise awareness about the food shops in the neighborhood and make it somewhat easier for people to overcome the barriers to accessing the healthy, nutritious food they need.
This six week series will help you connect with other people with similar health conditions and learn how to manage the day-to-day challenges of living with a chronic health condition. Topics include: coping with pain and fatigue, managing difficult emotions, eating well and feeling better, managing symptoms and side-effects and more.
