Congratulations on your pregnancy! The Somerset West Community Health Centre interdisciplinary pregnancy team is privileged that you have chosen us to be part of this most exciting time for you and your family. Prenatal appointments are offered on Monday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Thursday afternoons.

 

At each visit our team will assess the health of both you and your baby. We take time to address

any concerns you may have, and provide education about pregnancy. Information is also available on prenatal classes, labour support, birth planning, breastfeeding support and staying healthy during pregnancy.

 

 Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will see a female only physician at any point of your care at Somerset West CHC or Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus.
