Membership
Why Become a Member?
Membership is a great way to show your support, for not only Somerset West CHC but for the whole Community Health Centre Model of Care!
You are eligible for free membership if you are over 18 years of age, live or work in the Centre’s service area*, use the services of the Centre, or are a Centre volunteer.
Members are entitled to:
- Have a vote at our Annual General Meetings
- Be eligible to run for our Board of Directors or one of our various Board Committies
- Receive our annual report and other special mailings about our activities and events
- Have a say in governing your local CHC

The geographical area is defined by the east side of Island Park Drive to the north side of Carling Avenue to the west side of Bronson Avenue to the north side of Catherine Street to the west side of Bay Street to the north side of Gloucester Street to the west side of Lyon Street to the Ottawa River.
